Jock Whyte Incorporated Newcastle Office Interiors to encapsulate under one umbrella the supply and install of Office furniture and the Office Interior Design and Construct services as one client offering. Scottish born, Jock spent 16 years in Ireland where he first ventured into the business world before moving to Australia with his “Irish” bride and their 3 boys Sean, Sam, and Jamie, where they not only embraced and fell in love with the Newcastle way of life but also decided to continue on their business pursuit here. Jock enjoys bike riding and most things outdoors.
Karen Whyte - Newcastle Office Interiors

Karen Whyte


As fellow Director (and wife) to Jock, Karen Whyte looks after the accounts/bookkeeping and administration aspect of the business. Karen re-entered the workforce recently ready to take on her next challenge having spent the preceding years at home bringing up their 3 boys: Sean 18, Sam 14 and Jamie 11. Karen thoroughly enjoys her role in the company especially the implementing of structure and systems to give the company focus, in turn she thrives on quality family time in the evenings and weekends. She is always involved in some form of personal development whether by way of health and nutrition or in the various forms of fitness she undertakes, such as Yoga, pole dancing and Aqua fit to name a few.

Business Development

Joe Kelley joined the Newcastle Office Interiors team in September 2017 coming from an extensive customer service & sales background, helping local businesses throughout Newcastle and Hunter.Having grown up in Newcastle his whole life, he and his partner Sarah have fallen in love with the local café and beach scene. On weekends, you will find Joe on the basketball court refereeing, enjoying the beaches and indulging in as many restaurants as possible! His current favorite restaurant is Antojitos in Carrington – hands down the best Mexican in Newcastle! Joe loves meeting new people, solving problems and helping small business owners grow daily. Always being up for a coffee he would love to see how he might be able to help your business.

Carl Morris

Furniture Installation Manager

Carl Morris is happily married for 20 plus years, and has worked in the building industry since 1986 with trade and Advanced trade carpentry /joinery certification. Born in New Zealand, Carl has travelled extensively and has settled in Newcastle and enjoys being an integral part of the NOI team. Carl has a keen eye for detail and understands the technicalities involved in fit out and refurbishment works
Damien Hogg - Newcastle Office Interiors

Damien Hogg

Licensed Electrician

Damien is our in house licensed electrician.
Damien brings 7 years broad range experience including residential, commercial and industrial. After completing his apprenticeship Damien has always looked to challenge himself further and he thrives off learning new techniques and innovative technologies and adapting them into our fit out projects. Damo loves to keep fit and you will often catch him at the gym, playing soccer or catching up with friends and family
